At Elite Figure Skating, skaters can choose from three programs, each designed to match their individual goals.
Recreational Track
This track is perfect for skaters who want to enjoy figure skating in a relaxed, supportive environment without the pressures of competition. Designed to promote both enjoyment and skill development, the Recreational Track focuses on building a solid foundation through essential skating techniques such as strokes, twizzles, turns, spins, and jumps.
These fundamental elements help skaters develop balance, coordination, and confidence on the ice. The program emphasizes fun, fitness, and personal growth, making it an excellent choice for those skating for leisure, health, participation in the Academy’s seasonal shows, or as a stepping stone toward more advanced training paths.
“Caroline is just beginning her skating journey, and it’s been incredible to watch her grow at Elite Figure Skating Academy. The coaches are patient and encouraging, helping her build the confidence to try new things and perform in front of others – all while making every lesson fun. She looks forward to each session, and we’re so thankful for the supportive environment that nurtures her love of skating. We are truly grateful to be a part of this wonderful community.”

Academic Track
This program is designed for ambitious skaters who aim to leverage their figure skating experience as part of a well-rounded application to top-tier universities. Skaters in the Academic Track will focus on mastering advanced skating techniques, including complex jumps, spins, footwork sequences, and performance artistry.
Beyond technical skills, this track emphasizes the development of key personal attributes that elite universities value—such as discipline, perseverance, time management, and creative problem-solving. Participation in this program demonstrates long-term commitment, the ability to balance academics with intensive training, and the drive to achieve excellence both on and off the ice.
Our skaters in the Academic Track have a strong history of admissions success at prestigious institutions, including Ivy League schools and top East Coast universities such as Yale, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Boston University, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
“Sasha and Andrey are professional figure skaters and wonderful coaches. They took care of me in learning figuring skating as a lefty, in choreography, in choosing music, and making beautiful costomes, in coaching tests and competitions. I credit them for making skating a large part of my life! Not only were they patient and effective teachers on the ice, they also provided solid foundations in dance and off-ice conditioning that helped me continue skating through college and beyond.”

Professional Track
This track is ideal for skaters who aspire to turn their passion for figure skating into a long-term career in the industry. Whether their goal is to become a professional performer, coach, choreographer, or even manage skating shows and events, the Professional Track provides a comprehensive pathway to achieve those ambitions.
In addition to refining advanced skating techniques—including elite jumps, intricate footwork, and performance expression—skaters will gain valuable real-world experience through internships and hands-on opportunities within the academy. These may include assisting with coaching, helping to choreograph routines, managing events, or supporting day-to-day operations of skating programs.
Through personalized mentorship and exposure to the behind-the-scenes aspects of the skating world, skaters in this track develop not only technical excellence but also the leadership, communication, and organizational skills necessary for a successful professional career in figure skating.
“When I joined the Academy, I thought it was just about becoming a better skater. I quickly learned it was about becoming a better person. Balancing school, training, competitions, and expectations wasn’t easy—but that challenge is exactly what shaped me. Sasha and Andrey taught me how to stay disciplined when things got hard, how to manage my time without burning out, and how to keep pushing even when progress felt slow. Those lessons carried me through college and ultimately led me back to the rink as a professional coach. Everything I teach my students today—on and off the ice—started right here.”

“Figure skating teaches so much more than jumps and spins—it builds discipline, stamina, and resilience.
On the ice, you learn not only how to stand tall in performance, but also how to stand back up every time you fall. Those lessons stay with you for life.”
